The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect! It is situated in a prime area, close to grocery stores and easily accessible to different places. We received excellent advice from a local resident on where to find the best places to get groceries and directions to various locations.
The property had a strong smell of stale smoke which permeated throughout our stay. Despite efforts to air it out and use various air fresheners, the odor remained, even affecting our clothes.

Great location near popular attractions and amenities, such as pubs, the royal mile, and a supermarket. Convenient access to bus stop just meters away. Cozy and clean flat with plenty of storage space. Appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the availability of free WiFi. Nice touch with books and pictures on the walls.
Some minor inconveniences, such as an outdated hairdryer and low shower pressure, but nothing major. The lack of clear instructions for turning on the shower and accessing the WiFi could have been easily resolved with written directions or an email.

The apartment was clean and cozy, and I loved the kitchen and the free WiFi. The bathroom was super clean and the kitchen well-equipped. The bed was comfortable, although the sofa bed could have been better. The books and pictures on the walls added a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Edinburgh.

As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many hotels, and my recent stay at Portsburgh Square Residence in Edinburgh was solely for transit during my travel. The property's location was very convenient, with the nearest airport just 13 km away. This made it easy for me to catch my connecting flight without any hassle.
While my stay at Portsburgh Square Residence was brief, I did notice one minor negative aspect. The wardrobe provided in the room was not big enough to accommodate my wife's dresses and my suits due to its design.
